AUSTRALIA

We travel to Australia because one of our sons married a wonderful Australian girl and settled there. Although ‘skype’ is a god-send, we need to see them at least once a year. These are family re-unions and the chance of landscape photography is limited and further restricted by the sheer size of the continent. Location planning has to be done as part of general sight-seeing and visits with little knowledge about potential locations. This isn’t an excuse even though I feel I haven’t done the country justice and perhaps that is not possible because of its vastness, and to a degree lack of easy access to parts of its interior. Anyway here are a few examples; some are coastal scenes that in themselves are not recognizable as parts of Australia.
