North and South Wales

Being originally from South Wales, more specifically that famous castle town of Caerphilly, you must forgive my bias towards the Principality.  Now living in Surrey I hanker back to the beautiful mountains of Snowdonia and the Brecon Beacons, the wonderful and inspiring  coastline of West Wales and the Gower Peninsula.  The waterfall country  centred on Ystradfellte is incredibly photogenic.  Dylan Thomas may have been obsessed with words, but it was the landscapes that shaped his poems.
